PRAYER

The work of kingdom saturation must be fueled by prayer. We believe that prayer is foundational to our vision of: kingdom flourishing in cities throughout Cascadia.

Saturate is committed to regularly praying for our region, our cities, our neighborhoods, our businesses, our churches, our families, and truly every person in the Puget Sound. We believe praying to the Triune God is a privilege and a work, so we urge and equip local leaders and their teams to pray for their cities with expectant hearts and with disciplined petitions.

LEader Development

Saturating our cities with the gospel requires healthy leaders. Our mission is to identify and strengthen apostolic leaders in every Cascadia city. We are committed to discover and develop integrated and highly missional leaders who can pioneer the work of discipling their city, and do so from a place of rootedness in Christ. We believe that as leaders are healthy, capable, and on mission, their teams and their cities will align with the kingdom, and therefore flourish.

Discipling cities

Saturating the City requires telling people about the hope of Jesus. Our vision is for the hope of Jesus to spread throughout Cascadia as we gather together with marketplace leaders, non-profit leaders, and congregation leaders, sharing stories and praying together. So, we focus on equipping leaders, and their people, to bring the gospel to every man, woman and child.

The more people put their hope in Jesus, the more healing and transformation we will see. Therefore, we transform a city through transformed hearts.

City Reaching Teams

Saturating the City is not something that can be done by one person. Jesus’ command to love one another is not something we can do on our own, but requires others. His call for us to be one (as He and the Father are one,) is with the intent that the world will know that the Father sent Jesus.

These teams are critical for modeling and embodying Jesus’ kingdom. Through the plurality of gifts (like the APEST,) we see that Jesus’ design for his Ekklesia is to grow in maturity and effectiveness toward our calling to go and make disciples. As the mission to each Cascadia city develops, the city reaching team becomes the primary change agent. Saturate hosts an annual summit for city leadership teams.

Serving The City

The kingdom of light is the antithesis of the dominion of darkness. Jesus states quite clearly that he did not come to be served but to serve. The good news of the Gospel, then, is so much more than preaching a message of hope with our mouths, it is also taking action in our communities.

The gospel teaches us to love our neighbor as ourselves, and we do this because Jesus Christ first loved us. So, by connecting leaders through local city-networks, we aim to create and promote initiatives that transform our region, through the care of each person, each neighborhood and each city.
